Risentraube tomato
RIESENTRAUBE
Beautiful, red, grape-shaped fruits weigh approximately 3/4 oz. each, with a distinctive sharp pointed tip at the blossom end. Excellent, bold, old fashion tomato flavor. 'Riesentraube' translates from the German as "giant bunch of grapes"- up to 350 flowers are produced per cluster! This is the perfect tomato for drying.

Note: I've sold this variety in the past, and discontinued it as I was so disappointed in the flavor of the strain that I had. I knew that this was supposed to be a excellent flavored tomato, but certainly wasn't. Fortunately, I found seed last year that lives up to the standard that this variety is known for. I wish that more of the fruits would have been red in the photo, but my Pug was eating all the ripened fruits before I realized what was going on!
