Watson Giant tomato
WATSON GIANT

Look at the size of that whopper! It weighed in at 1 lb. 15.2 ounces. The tomato in the photo was one of the first fruits of the season; it is common for the fruit sizes to decrease as the season progresses. Don't get me wrong, these are big 'maters! Plants are very productive and fruits are BIG on flavor!

HISTORY:  I got this variety from a friend in the UK, who enjoys growing giant tomatoes. The only information I can find on this variety is that this seed came from a line that produced a very large tomato for Mr. Watson. It is common in the Giant Vegetable growing arena to track seeds by the persons last name and weight (ex: 3.55 Watson)
