I first came across this variety at the 2024 National Heirlooms Expo this past fall in California where I was invited to attend as a speaker.
Medium to large, visually spectacular fruits begin lime green - with red and anthocyanin striping - developing to yellow and finally maturing to orange. Flesh develops the same, starting light green, to yellow and finally maturing to orange with red veining.
Plants are above average in production and disease resistance. Flavor is above average, too - leaning on the sweeter side. For the absolute finest quality, do not overwater plants and keep them picked (even a bit early) or they will get mushy as all yellow tomatoes do.
HISTORY: A cross found in the garden of Polish breeder, Zbigniew Pawluczuk and owner of the seed company Tomatoeden. He states: “Found by me in 2015 an accidental cross between Blue Gold and an unknown Indigo tomato. Very productive, indeterminate.”
