Medium-sized, red fruits, 2-3” in size, are borne in clusters of 3 to 5 per spray have a balanced meat to juice ratio. A great standard, main-crop variety that is highly productive. Plants remain under five feet, making this a great variety for folks with limited space.
HISTORY: Created by James Chalk of Norristown, Pennsylvania in 1899. Later offered commercially through at least 2 seed companies. It is a cousin to ‘Bonny Best'. USDA PI1033360
